Founded in 1923, the Holyoke League of Arts and Crafts, Inc. is a nonprofit organization. As its goals, the League seeks to bring to the community a broader appreciation of artistic values. It also tries to stimulate and encourage artists and potential artists to promote their art works in the community.
In order to accomplish its purpose, the League holds monthly art lectures and art demonstrations by professional and prominent artists. The demonstrations are held on the last Friday of every month at the Canal Gallery on Dwight St in Holyoke MA.
